The Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development in Health (Fiotec) has the mission of participating in the scientific, technological and health innovation development, through the shared management of programs and projects, for the quality of life of society. It is a foundation of private law, non-profit, with administrative autonomy, financial and own equity. It is duly accredited by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications (MCTIC) and subject to the supervision of the Public Prosecutor's Office and its activities are governed by specific legislation.
