Synthon Chile Ltd.
Visão geral
O que faz Synthon Chile Ltd.?
The history of Synthon in Chile begins in the 1950s under the name Laboratorios Rider and with the exclusive representation of the products of the French pharmaceutical company, Laroche Navarron. In 1961 and after rapid growth, it created its own production plant, represented new international brands, such as Fleet and Blistex, and developed its own line of injectable products. Adjusting to the changes in the market in the early 1990s, he decided to specialize and focused on the manufacture of solids, capsules and semisolids. Later it obtains the certification of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), granted by the Institute of Public Health of Chile (ISP), which is maintained to this day. In 2007, the company is acquired by Synthon Holding BV, a Netherlands-based pharmaceutical company dedicated to the development, registration, production and marketing of bioequivalent generic products globally. Since then, several products in specialized lines such as urology, central nervous system, oncology and general medicine have been incorporated into the portfolio. In November 2013, the most modern plant in Chile was inaugurated and the only one to have obtained certification from the European Medicines Agency for export to Europe, which has made it possible to cover highly complex pathologies and improve access to health for the population with quality drugs.
